Several local organizations are hosting activities for school-aged children during next week's winter break.
Brookside Museum and Sue McLane, the Victorian Lady, are hosting two events. From 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, McLane will host a tea party in Victorian style. Children ages 7 to 12 will dress up, practice their manners, partake in the tea party and make an easy craft.
An ice cream social will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday for children to learn real ice cream making, parlor games and make a craft. The cost for either activity is $7.50 for nonmembers and $5 for members. The museum is located in Ballston Spa. For …
