SA: Boy buried alive while digging for bottles

ADELAIDE, Feb 4 AAP - A 13-year-old boy died today when he was buried alive during
a dig for old bottles with his father at Port Augusta in South Australia.

Police said it was believed the pair were hunting for old bottles which offer a refund
at a site in Stirling Road this afternoon.

"The father had just got out of the hole. And as the son went to get out the edge of
the hole slipped away and he was buried alive," an Adelaide police spokeswoman said tonight.
