COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTRES IN NAGALAND PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT TO EDUCATED YOUTH

The Community Information Centres in the State of Nagaland provide employment to the educated youth, said the Nagaland Government in a press release:

The project of Community Information Centres (CICs) has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Government of India for 52 blocks in Nagaland.

Each CIC had been provided with VSAT connectivity, six computers with Internet facility to disseminate information freely available at the doorsteps of the rural people.

These CICs also provides employment to educated unemployed youth. Training on computer and Internet is also being given in these Community Information Centres.
