NSW: League player's killer has sentence increased=2

Eighteen-year-old JAI JAGO died from a single gunshot wound in his heart while walking
along a street just a few hundred metres from his Hurlstone Park home, in Sydney's southwest,
on April the 26th, 2001.

He was shot by one of two men who'd stopped in a car and argued with Jai and his friend.

JAI managed to run a short distance but collapsed.

The South Sydney rugby league junior was said to have had a promising career ahead of him.

MA, who pulled the trigger, was 19 when he was sentenced late last year.

His accomplice, KADR DIAB, who was 21 at the time of sentencing, was jailed for up
to nine years with a non-parole period of six years after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
